The straight forward answer is appreciating and valuing your inherited self-worth. Thrusting you on yourself is quite a challenging task and all because of the years of negative programming that we are tuned to in different varieties and levels. Our childhood and our upbringing have a lot to say about how we act and think today and how we perceive ourselves in present times.

But, the key lies in identifying and accepting the imperfections and moving towards better health and prospects. It is just like doing all that we can to be slimmer, yet failing and just not accepting the fact that the problem lies not on the foods and techniques, but on our ways and mind-sets. People who focus on their positive qualities and efforts to overcome the negative ones by accepting and changing them, are the ones who gets the opportunity to live a healthy and fruitful life.

Self-compassion is key here because this means less anxiety and depression – in fact, people who see themselves in a more positive light actually tend to be happier and more optimistic as well and this leads to making healthier lifestyle choices, such as the foods they choose, how much they eat, the weight they lose and the exercise they incorporate into their lives.

For centuries people have known that natural foods are beneficial for a healthy living. The scientific reason for this however is not known to many. Furthermore, with the spoilt food habits of children nowadays who prefer to consume junk food than natural foods, it is essential that this reason is known to them but then education is not enough. From all prospective, parents should lead the correct example at home.

People these days worry more about satisfying their taste buds rather than valuing the nutritional requirements of their body. Most of us eat vegetables and fruits that have been peeled and in the process we also peel off the fiber, minerals and vitamins that are contained in them. Several naturopaths are of the opinion that natural products are present in their holistic form and thereby the effect that it has is also holistic, which is destroyed when the food is cooked or processed.

Consuming a natural food, as it exists without cooking is good for health, but washing them before consuming it is also necessary. This is because, there are various pesticides and chemical fertilizers that might have got stuck to them at the time of farming which when consumed can cause many sickness.

April, 7th each year is observed as the World Health Day all across the world. Various health organizations at state and local levels take this as an opportunity to ensure that every individual across the world can obtain the care that they need for a healthy living. Millions of people all over still do not have access to some important basic needs of life like healthcare and necessities like food, shelter and clothing.

Let’s take this as an opportunity this World Health Day to spread the importance of healthy living for a happy life.

Good and healthy life is not a prerogative of a few, it is universal and a basic right for all humans. It is just that we are not educated and if educated, we do not have the right approach for it.
